I like have separate start and end points. Looking at flights doing the one way for both there and back is too much $$ is this what most people are doing?

I originally thought I’d use points for the flights but basically one way flights are costing almost double of what round trip flights are.

On Princess they have an option to book flights through them and the pricing is more reasonable but I would still like to use my points to purchase the flights instead of forking over $2300 cash for each round trip flight. They are closed for the day but anyone know if they accept points for payment of flights?
