I don’t know where the best long haul flights are right now. We chose Stockholm because Norwegian had US flights then
and it like $250/person round trip, and then less than $100/person for the flights within Europe. But Norwegian doesn’t fly to the US anymore.

Just book a multi-city flight. Bout the same price as RT. Or a RT and a cheap connecting flight from the end of the

We flew RT to Stockholm, then took a cheap flight the Venice to start the cruise and a cheap flight from Barcelona back
