It is marketing genious. . . While I may dislike it, It is working extremely well and I will applaud the successful setup.

App Store Lock in = No Biggie
No longer support Apple Music on non-apple devices = No Biggie
Apple TV only casting only Apple phones without hassle = No Biggie
Etc . . .
Again, I may dislike it. But I have got to admire their ability to market and then lock in consumers for their entire life. It is amazing. Very well done. my neighbor growing up got his first computer from Apple 40 years ago. Still to this day I don't think he has had anything but Apple.
My concern (and imperfect opinion), Tesla fans have told me they are locked in and well only buy Tesla's the rest of their life, even though they are in their 30's. . . While Tesla makes an amazing car, that's is a bridge too far for me.
