Google+ was such a mess. One of their products I didn't mind they killed.

Google has a tendency to come up with ideas, half bake them, and then kill them when not adopted. Google+, Wave, Allo, Hangouts etc. It's been a major gripe of mine with them. Thankfully Gmail and Maps were successful and survived over time.
