But that was 15 years after great success. Ever since watching him succeed I've
been extremely interested every time I hear something like this. I can't wait to see him win!

I'm sure he knows this, but 10 miles per hour on a decent bike is very doable. Where will he do the final ride? Completely flat is obviously easier than net zero going up and down. I'd even imagine some publicity would get people to come cheer him on, even if it's just a group of CBers. In addition to him winning this bet, he will inspire others to improve as well.
