In 2013, I did the 75-mile leg of the Huntsman Cancer Ride to raise money and honor my best friend from high school who
had died in 2012 from glioblastoma. There was a guy on the route who had to weigh well over 300 pounds. He looked to be in his late 20s to early 30s. I was so impressed that he was riding his bike for the event and thought how hard it must've been for him to be cycling at that weight.

I'm enjoying reading your posts and wishing your friend the best, particularly for his health rather than winning any money.
