Kickstands are a safety risk on a bike that is built for jumps.
If the kick stand drops from the jolt from landing it can cause a nasty crash, so any mountain bike of decent quality won’t come with one.

Despite the obscene price, I was informed like skeptical optimist above that my bike was, in fact, a piece of crap.
