Going over Fairview adds another 30 min, so it'd be an hour more total. I am close enough to that I can do it just about

any time. We go a few times a year up Fairview canyon and get on Skyline Drive with either our side-by-side or to cut down a Christmas tree. Probably not worth the extra time for this trip when I can get there in an hour. It is beautiful though. I love going up there.

Ok, I've driven that stretch. I say highway 24 is superior; however, hwy 10 & 72 from price to Loa is an underrated
