My HCBW had an experience when we moved to Utah along these lines

Previously, he hung out with friends wherever/whenever and usually there was drinking involved.

A couple of her classmates were headed to a bar and invited her "just to be nice" and they were shocked that she showed up; b/c she's LDS (and active). They said they'd never seen a Mormon at a bar before...
