and terribly cumbersome play/theater analogy, there's no way one guy has inside information on what 17 different universities and 3 different conferences are doing secretly behind very secure closed doors. His whole shtick is designed to obscure the fact that, when it comes down to it, he really has no clue what actually is going on. He's just trying to read the tea leaves like every other Joe-nobody.
