Struggled. I currently live in the PHX market so I am well aware of the issues. I have spent considerable time in the SLC area, I have a home in Utah, we travel there frequently so I am pretty comfortable with the dynamics of the demographic there. That’s what I base my statement about how I think an NHL team would be a success there. Who knows what will happen but the NHL has been very successful with its new franchises in Vegas and Seattle. Also there is a successful franchise in Minnesota currently.

Salt lake has some great potential especially with a rapidly growing population and it’s economic/commercial base.
