It was smoke and mirrors. His whole philosophy was line go up. Only worried

about increasing his stock price. He took a paragon of US ingenuity and manufacturing and broke it into pieces for his stock holders. He learned that firing people, selling off assets that were profitable, and not investing in research and development increased stock price and went all in, destroying GE in the process.

He is a massive failure.
