I appreciate that sentiment but don't think this is fair to OP.
Yes, he can provide a great landing spot and upbringing for this young boy.
But do you know who else could provide a great landing spot for him? Every single one of us (except TCuz), and none of us is stepping up to take this on.
OP has already been an absolute angel, and if he takes this on, that would be an amazing offering to this boy. But I think we should stop short of putting pressure on him to do this.
