No I meant just hand buffing.

I thought maybe you were saying just a motorized buffer takes off the clear coat but you’re saying any due to the abrasives. Understood.

What are you using to 'hand buff'? Any polishing compound is basically sandpaper..

The Flex 3401 and Rupes Mark III's are excellent. Hard to go wrong with either.
