There’s not one quality study that shows a particular diet reduces your risk of cardiovascular mortality.

Obviously “a bad diet” which increases your risk of high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, etc can lead to cardiac issues.. so “eating healthy” (which probably mostly means limiting caloric intake) is obviously a good thing and a part of giving yourself the best chance.

But if you’re looking at one specific intervention to give yourself the longest life possible exercise/activity/vo2 levels consistently trump all
