bottom third and the bottom can fit a turkey. Some manufacturers have the 2/3 split but it is just the doors and a thin inner partition that are split but it is still just one big oven, whereas ours is actually 2 separate ovens. It's gas. It has a middle griddle burner on the range.
We love it. Use the small upper one all the time, as well as the middle griddle on the range. Thanksgiving is a breeze when you have 2 ovens that can work totally independently.
Downsides are small and both related to the bottom oven sitting lower than a standard oven - no room for tray drawer at the bottom and the initial hookup in the back was tight because there's not the normal room under the oven box that's normally available to wind some of the gas line.
We just have a normal size house and kitchen, not a minimansion where a wolf or viking would even be a consideration.
