And you can't just give out a lot of money to an unknown at BYU because of the
Church connection. It's a big risk to bring in someone on a big NIL deal who could ultimately produce negative headlines.
In this case, Jax is a known commodity and he knows BYU and the culture here and is accepting of it. He is far more deserving of a larger NIL deal than anyone else we could get in the portal.
