WCC was a much better fit for BYU than I anticipated. I loved the
support from other faith based universities. Didn't have to put up with Wyoming or SDSU fans mocking my faith constantly. And Gonzaga was better than any MWC school while we were in the WCC and St. Mary's was as good as or better than any MWC school. Sure, the WCC didn't draw any better than the P12, but BYU won the conference title much more frequently in the MWC than they did in the WCC. The top end in the WCC was simply better than the MWC. Its that simple.
