The rumor in question is a $2mm offer for 1 player, which is an ncaa record high

There is no rational reason to believe BYU is setting the curve on the highest NIL offer ever.

We could all be shocked and maybe it happened.

It would be inconsistent with everything else we know about BYU, so the burden of proof is definitely on the rumor starter and those who believe it.
