What the graduate assistants make is peanuts compared to what Coach Kevin Young and Assistant Coach Burgess make. Coach Young is likely making ten times what his lowest assistant will make.

Unless we enter the second coming, I don't see big value of a kumbaya-exercise of trying to keep the players NIL equal or even close to equal. Their value on the court isn't close to equal. Almost no businesses operate that way. Pro sports teams don't operate that way. BYU will have an incredibly difficult time trying to remain competitive long term for men's basketball if they operate that way. It could work for other lower profile sports.
