Wolves wouldn’t have done better with him in game 2, but would be much worse
without him in the last 3 games. If anyone should be criticized on Minnesota, it should be KAT. Sucks for Rudy, he will always be an easy scapegoat for the media.

I want to make it clear that Rudy Gobert actually had a brilliant game last night.

If you are a defensive player & let your man get 40 you didn't have a great game

The point is that when Jokic is like that, you can do everything that won you the DPOTY and still not stop him.

There's a difference between "he did all he could do" and "he had a great game"

Semantics. I'm saying he fundamentally played fantastic defense.

No, he didn't. You don't give up 40 points playing "fantastic" defense. I agree

He gave up 20

Clearly not - his best wasn't good enough

What does this even mean? The issue isn't whether Joker and Denver are better...

I'll ask this

This. And again, it's semantics. He was unable to stop Jokic, so in that sense he failed.

I don't think anyone is questioning his effort. It was not a good performance

He didn’t fail. Yes, Jokic scored but he was a team best -2 on the night

I think you're agreeing with me and don't realize it. This isn't an assassinatio

He doesn’t guard jokic all night. And wow

And several wild fade away hook/jumpers. Guys in the league don’t make 10%

Sadly with Gobert he isn't in the "popular" group of NBA stars

Gobert deserves plenty of criticism

Draymond comes off as such a hypocrite in this

He comes across as a bully, picking on the "different" kid (the foreigner).

He's not getting bullied by Jokic's weight. You make it sound like he's Shaq

May 15, 11:40am
Then what exactly allows him to back him down from 15 feet?
whoneedscorners?
May 15, 12:07pm
Not 15, but maybe 5 feet. Patience, ball-handling, footwork

May 15, 12:30pm
Yep. Also, this is the first game Jokic has schooled him. The other games Gobert

Brilliant would mean he did more than just be there
