I don't have a high mortgage either. 2.875% and only owe $300k. Less than
the rent on most townhomes in our city. Only other debt is my wife's car. Our other three cars are a paid off 2017, a 2005, and a 2002.
We have pored over our budget and just don't see where there is much of any wiggle room to up our retirement (or other savings) much more.
