1. You don't track your spending as well as you think and a Dave Ramsey style evaluation of the budget is needed.

2. You underestimate how wealthy CB is. I have found in discussions there is a massive disconnect in what many consider to be wealthy. Multiple people on this board have told me they believe $100k salaries are easy to come by for any college grad. A truly remarkable disconnect. While $100k is more common, its still not at all a given even for educated people.

There are a lot of working professionals that don't see $150k-250k as being anything special when in reality $150k household puts you in the 80th percentile and climbs quickly from there.
