You know what all those schools that have recently done major upgrades have in
common?
Prior to the announcement of the upgrades, they were schools that hadn't done any recent major upgrades. BYU isn't going to be left behind because of their stadium.
BYU has done quite a few things recently. I'd consider the concourse connections a major upgrade. That upgrade included upper concourse bathrooms and concessions as well. They've also done a lot of minor upgrades in the last 5-10 years.

Left behind in what way? If we win people show up and buy tix, lose and it doesn't matter how nice the stadium is.
