The private courses have much better conditions than most public courses
But even some of them are meh designs. Glenwild, Victory Ranch and SLCC are the top private courses in Utah in my opinion.
Riverside, Tuhaye, Red Ledges and Alpine are the next tier of private courses.
With the exception of the public courses in so Utah and Maybe Valley View, public golf in Utah may be fun but it’s below average when compared to other parts of the country.

The muni courses are so cheap that it's REALLY hard for private courses to compete. Just not enough demand for a $150
