So…just a completely random example here, but in a good golf state like NC, you
can play 18 (with a cart) at Wilmington Municipal for $43. It was designed by Donald Ross and it’s really cool. Not a top 100 course by any means, but it’s just in a different category than the public courses in Utah.
Then there are like 50 other amazing courses in that state. Some are expensive, yes, but many are very affordable.

The muni courses are so cheap that it's REALLY hard for private courses to compete. Just not enough demand for a $150
