out smelling like roses for themselves, when they just take the cash and run, but a few have gotten burned when they take have taken equity in the PE as part of the deal. But it isn’t the dentists I’m worried about with these deals, it’s the patients long-term. Let’s just say I would use a dentist, whose office is not owned by a PE company. I personally, would stay away from PE owned offices.
It’s crazy how PE is starting to even infiltrate my industry- the accounting industry. You would think this group would know better , and some definitely do, but are taking the short-term over the long term.
