I'm not an Apple fan, but I will say that the Applecare warranty is amazing. I used it when I dropped my laptop
down the stairs and warped the frame. It saved me hundreds of dollars. I'll also say that though I'm not a fan of iPhones, I've been using Macbooks for over a decade and they've both been fantastic machines.
