Of all the reasons to not buy Apple products this isn’t one of them. Sorry you
had a bad experience but I have two different 10+ year old MacBook Airs sitting in my office closet that still work great and I’d still be using them if I didn’t get tired of waiting for them to die so I could buy a new computer.
Apple typically compares extremely well to other computer brands when it comes to build quality, reliability and customer service.
