What do you expect them to do? Most of those illnesses are just random viruses or bacterial infections.
by the time they could test and get results back your kids would be better. There is nothing they could do. Personally I just don't take kids in unless it's a chronic thing or you have other signs of strep. But I certainly don't blame the doctors or nurses for not knowing.
