like that. My fiance just graduated with a master's in stats at BYU, and while she was there had her own office. I would visit her on occasion, and sometimes I would take my laptop and do homework and what not there.
About a month ago, she called me up after school one day absolutely furious. Apparently, one of her professors approached her and told her (in a chastising way) that someone had complained to her that we were getting "a little too comfortable with each other" in her office, and that "she was sitting on [my] lap." First off, never at any time had she sat on my lap while we were in her office, so they were making up stories. Second, who cares if she HAD been sitting on my lap?! Since when was just sitting on your fiance's lap inappropriate?
I never found out who it was that complained, but it's people like THAT who give BYU a bad name.
