While lobbying for a certain coach ahead of time or standing behind someone is just fine, writing an article after the fact that the Head Coach made a mistake because you know and like a guy who didn't get hired is just weak.

I believe Bronco knows more about his team and the situation than Vai does and I trust his judgment (especially since he was the one doing the interviewing) far more than I trust Vai's opinion. Again, weak article.
