all those insiders who persisted that this was a done deal and that it was for sure going to happen. There are several on this board who were so "sure" it was going to happen. They put themselves out there on a limb and said so. They did not say "I am cautiously optimistic" or "Many details have been worked out and now the BOT is looking at this" or "we are very close finalizing a decision." No, in fact they wanted some self serving glory to be the "one who broke the news."

Undoubtedly those same people will be on here claiming they knew all along that this was going to happen if and when the brethren decide to go to the BIG 12. IMHO these posters were disingenuous. It goes to show that no one really has inside information except TH, CS and BOT.

Hopefully no one sees this as being too harsh. Frankly I have enjoyed some of the speculation. But calling it how I see it.
