it was all during the regular season. I should clarify - it doesn't appear that the problem was that he played them 5 times. It's that he played them, during the regular season, for five straight years, which wasn't deemed to be allowed for some reason.
The mere fact that it has happened before makes it something to wonder about. It doesn't appear to be a hard-set rule by the NCAA, but the circumstances appear similar enough that the NCAA could do the same thing to Utah and Wynn.
