I believe a student should be able to make $ on his likeness from boosters or whoever.

I also believe that if a university boots a player off of a team they shouldn't have any say over what team he goes too. In most work contracts you can negotiate whether there will be a non-compete and what the terms are. Students can't negotiate--they just have to abide by ncaa rules that are set in stone.... And oddly enough those rules are determined with zero input from students---it is 100% composed of university presidents and the NCAA who obviously isn't as concerned about students as they are institutions.



Like it or not the landscape will dramatically change in 10-15 years and either students will be allowed to make $ or the NFL will start a minor league system.
