Detmer the player attacked because that was the game plan. His nature is what
we see on the sideline, vanilla, calm and passive appearing. He ran a wide open offense as a player because the plays given to him were intended to be aggressive .
He is now coaching an offensive scheme he deeply understands and fits his nature. To this point there isn't a good fit between the players and the scheme. It is my opinion that he believes in his system so much that he is going to make it work or else.
