I think it's the other way around. Kalani dropped hints in his post game
Interview as well. He was talking about how most offenses use read pass options and stuff like that to confused or trick a defense and how effectively it is killing our pass rush because we don't know what the other team is gonna do.
I think he is forcing Ty to be a little more creative with the play calling (hence, Kafentzis running the wild cat) now. The more Kalani gets involved, the better, although I don't think the Wild cat is the answer. That was just an example of creativity implemented this past week...
FWIW, a pro style offense is vanilla by design. You just line up and beat your man.
