He beat a bunch of stiffs against maybe the easiest October and November schedules in BYU history. He was terrible against the one quality team he started against--TCU.
He had a bad arm and made bad decisions. Many of his decisions were based on an inflated belief in his ability--not only in his play, but his decisions regarding whether he should play. If he had understood his shortcomings and played within his limited ability, the entire team would have faired much better.
