Utah WR's vs BYU CB's
Utah: They lost a lot of talent here. Singleton (464 yards and 4 TD's), Simpkins (158 yards, 1 TD).
BYU cb's: Troy Warner (21 tackles and a fumble recovery as a freshman, 4* recruit who played a ton as a true freshman), Dayan (Lake) Ghanwoloku (48 tackles, 2 tfl, 3 INT with 113 yards return off those INT's, 4 pass break ups, fumble recovery)
Coaches Ed Lamb and Sitake are glowing over the depth and talent that BYU has at cornerback right now. It's awesome to see that after having such a dearth for so many years. On paper, this is a clear advantage for BYU.
I'd give BYU the edge in this matchup. Our CB's are much more experienced and proven and should be able to mostly contain Utah's inexperienced receiving corps. It's a big question for those around the program for who's going to step up at WR and become the main targets for their QB.
