How you know you've lost an argument.
1. Do not respond to what the other person said, just put words in their mouth to fit your need.

Duce: Jimmermania was huge. It was on the cover SI multiple times, it was covered by all the major national newspapers, Jimmer was being interviewed on SportsCenter, PTI, etc., and BYU played in primetime on CBS in its first two NCAA tourney games that year. Name me the last college bball player that had an impact nationally like that? I'm anxious to hear your response.

VirginiaUte: Are you saying that Jimmer is the most influential, or perhaps the better word would be sensational, college hoops player in recent history? good gosh, if that's what you're arguing, then you are too far gone for me to even try anymore.

2. When called out for making a strawman, retort to childish snarky sarcasm.

Duce: Just as I thought. You have no response.

VirginaUte: Is it even necessary? Obviously jimmer is the most influential cbb player in history. There's just no arguing that, LOL

3. Game, set, match.
