Then I asked myself a question about the issue. A very reasonable question, one the first failed to address. A question apparently either unasked or conveniently ignored by the authors (and yourself) in the first source.
So I found another source which asked and answered the same question and clarifies the whole deep ocean heating issue as a non-starter.
You have ignored it. But when you have time your immediate response will be: "is not a peer reviewed source" to discredit it.
But the logic is so simple it really doesn't require review.
