1) Power in the hands of few and further consolidation of power in the foreseeable future, and more freedoms taken away. Agreed. Not much you can do about except convince tons of people to vote for more economic freedom. I don't see that happening. Again, not what we're talking about.

2) People will adapt as long as there is some degree of freedom to innovate. Where there is opportunity to make money, and keep making money smart people, or otherwise inspired people, will make awesome stuff that solves problems. That is what I was talking about.

I don't think we will have 100% freedoms taken away, yet.
