Actually, I Think I Was Arguing With You
I think the "those with perma-babysitting" angle is a bit whiny and also beside the point. We got help, perhaps every other month, with our first kid. We weren't within 2,000 miles of relatives for any of our other newborns. But really, who cares what other people have going for them? You knew enough about your situation to figure out how your lives would be effected when you decided to become Mom & Dad.

My issue is with the "What about this, what about that" list you generated because it's a great example of an entitlement attitude among young parents that's completely inconsiderate. I didn't need to read the whole thread to see that. And I do think the prevalence of this attitude can detract from the football experience at LES (which was the main topic).

You have a fair point about blanket judgment. There are very conscientious parents out there who aren't oblivious to others and have kids who can attend without detracting from other paying fans chance to enjoy some live, major college football. While I lean towards it being better to leave Jr. at home (with you, if needs be) and avoid the whole issue, not all kids behave the same and some couples really work to be considerate. I appreciate those folks a ton.
