My company is changing the way they do FTO. Unlimited FTO as it has been called
by some is talked about in the link below. Not sure this is the right category but it is business related I guess.

We no longer have a specific number hours we accrue every pay period or any maximums, FTO hours are just non existent now. Now any time off we need, up to 3 weeks, can be approved by our manager, 3 weeks and above has to be approved by upper level management.

The only thing they care about is if you are getting you job completed on time as defined by your management. If you happen to nickle and dime vacation days through out the year and end up taking six weeks off and get your job done then supposedly everything is good.

No more worrying about how much FTO you have left or if you are reaching your maximum. Just take FTO when you need to I guess.

There are exceptions as defined by law like maternity leave and extended illness that would turn into disability leave and some things like that.

Not sure how this is all going to work out. Any of you have the same with your FTO?
