Ours just died this week. It has been nothing but problems the entire time we've had it. The ring around the door never dries and gets moldy. Our clothes always came out smelling worse than before.

Multiple people have told us that front load machines are very unreliable and break down faster than top load machines. If they do break, the mechanics are much more complicated and expensive to fix. Ours would've cost 750 to fix. We ended up trashing the thing and buying a ge top load machine. A repair place wouldn't even take it for free because they already have two that they can't get rid of.
