I have at least 12 posts predicting that. Don't know why this isn't more obvious to everyone. He was probably the second best player on the team as a freshman the last 7 games of the season.
There have been two changes since my ridiculed/Jimmered post last November predicting KC would be a lottery pick subject to his good health:
1. KC's injury will heighten durability concerns among NBA execs and could move him lower in the first round;
2. Carlino's limiting influence on his game is gone making it almost certain that KC will be able to demonstrate his full PG talent this season if he fully recovers early. One year as the full time unquestioned team leader is all he needs.
Still don't expect KC to play PG in the NBA because he has the size and strength to be more effective elsewhere; but it can only help to show he has the leadership, quickness, and handles to play the point. PG's with the requisite size and strength have the knowledge to easily convert to other positions.
Here is to your good health KC.
