because if he cant shoot he will not last in the NBA, especially the way the league is moving to a more fast pace scoring mentality offense - guards in the NBA need to be able to shoot and defend.

Look at Jimmer even he cant really make it in the NBA - the league is hard to be successful in its the best players from everywhere. Jimmer can shoot lights out but he cant defend anyone going back to my point you have to be able to shoot and defend.
