I don't know if this will help but we, too, lost our last boy. We knew about six
months into the pregnancy that there were problems; that his lungs weren't developing among other issues that are too sensitive to my wife to discuss here. Immediately after he was born he was put on a respirator. He gradually deteriorated and, as we knew he wasn't going to live we decided to pull the plug after a lot of prayer at 15 hours after birth. He was suffering immensely and his little body was getting more discolored by the second. It brought to my mind the suffering of the Savior when it got so intense it was enough.

The thing we always have to be grateful for is our knowledge of the gospel and the plan of life. I don't know what we (particularly my wife) would have done without this knowledge. He is now happy and looking forward to renewing the eternities with our family, and we with him. He obviously was a very special child and spirit that he only had to come here for such a short time. I know that as you focus on life's purposes your eyes will be opened to the purposes for your little one. This life is but a passing thought compared to the eternities to come. You have a lot to look forward to.
