The only part I find laughable is that so many on here believe that
the BYU administration doesn't trust the students. That is laughable---actually beyond laughable.

I trusted my kids but I sure had family rules. I know families who said they trusted their kids so much they had no (or minimal) family rules. Do you want to guess on what is the most likely outcome of those two examples?

I guess according to you the Lord doesn't trust me (and I am 72 years old) because He sure has a lot of rules and He wants me to go see my bishop at least every two years and report how I am doing. Actually, maybe we have gained some trust because it used to be every year that I was encouraged to go see my bishop.

Now, I understand that you may well say something like "apples and oranges" but when you do would you care to give some examples that show the lack of trust by BYU administrators. And having an honor code is not showing a lack of trust.
