You know players are not rated in the North East right?
So, comparing players who are rated vs. players who aren't rated isn't a very accurate look at things.
Would the fastest HS senior in CA with a great fb body be not be rated? The faster HS senior in NY a few years ago wasn't rated & got his mandatory two stars when he committed to UCONN. He now starts for the Raiders.
If he was in VA, he would have been a 4/5 star player.
How about a 6'5" guy from NH would was the 3rd fastest in New England? Not rated. Starting for the Chargers. If he was in VA, he would have been a 4/5 star player.
The rating services follow the money. The NFL follows the talent.
The NFL thinks UCONN is at a whole 'nother level than VA from a talent perspective.
